Thanks for the photos of the Dash 7 and the huts.
The Dash 7 seems like the kind of plane you only see in movies. Very cool to see what it really looks like. Maybe I’ve seen one before and just don’t know it, but I can see why it get featured regularly in your posts.
The Lagoon hut – I would never have expected it to be yellow and blue inside, but what an incredibly efficient use of space. How many sea lions did you have to step over to get inside to take these photos?
As for the red hut – it probably does need some Ashley TLC. In your photo of the bunk, I don’t really see a place to sleep…on top of the laminate cubbies? Maybe a shag carpet would spice things up a little. 🙂
We had one or two days of no rain here but still heavy clouds. Woke up this morning to rain again, but at least it’s 55 instead of 35. I’m looking forward to my next trip to Miami and Key West in January. Hard to believe summer in Rothera is -10 including windchill. Yikes!
Happy holidays and I hope you enjoy your chocolate at Christmas and New Years. Your mum and dad are so very sweet to keep you tempted with their care packages.
